Home Remedies for Toothache – Get Rid Of Toothache Quickly

A toothache is a discomfort or pain within or around a tooth, signifying irritation, and swelling, reddening and possible infection. When tooth decay enters the pulp chamber that contains the nerve endings and tiny blood vessels, a toothache starts rising.

A common cause of toothache could begin from a number of sources, but mostly from any of the following:
Dental cavities, gum disease, tooth root sensitivities, cracked tooth syndrome and eruption.

Home Remedies for Toothache:

1) Asafoetida has been found useful in curing toothache. Asafoetida should be pestled in lemon Juice and slightly heated. Cotton should be soaked in this lotion for some time and then place this cotton swab in the cavity of the tooth. It will give relief from quickly.

2) A paste of the bark of bay berry should be made with vinegar and this paste should be applied on the affected tooth. It can also be applied on the gums for strengthening them. This is a good Home Remedy for Toothache

3) Make a mixture of crushed clove and peanut butter. Apply this to the aching tooth and leave it in there for some time.

4) Drops of vanilla extract on the aching tooth are also an effective remedy.

5) Placing a clove of garlic with little rock salt on the affected tooth helps reduce or heal the pain.

6) Make a mixture of mustard oil and turmeric powder and apply this mixture on the teeth. It is very helpful in curing all the teeth problems

7) Use dry peppermint leaves: Place a minute stack of dried peppermint leaves around the aching tooth for 15 minutes and then spit it out. Repeat this procedure 10 to 15 times a day. Peppermint acts in a double procedure. First, it brings the abscess to the upper surface and second, acts as pain killer.
